Even though Sai Reddy announced the retirement, there were speculations that he would join the BJP.

Initially, they said he would get his same seat from the Saffron Party but that did not happen.
Later, Sai Reddy turned approver in Liquor Scam and gave statement to the CID against some key persons in the Previous Government.

We have seen Jagan firing on Sai Reddy before the Media but the latter maintained restraint.
When BJP did not field VSR for that Rajya Sabha seat, the chatter about Sai Reddy joining the Saffron Party stopped.

Since then, there is nothing about him in the media.
A video surfaced in which Sai Reddy is seen going to Adiseshagiri Rao’s Guest House in Guntur and TDP Leader TD Janardhan going to the same house just before the CID investigation.
So, there were speculations that Sai Reddy is working against Jagan.
Slowly, Sai Reddy stopped posting about politics on Twitter too.
These days, he only tweets about IT, AI and job opportunities for the youth.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Sai Reddy may even join back YSR Congress.
Jagan is also said to have become less angry with Vijayasai Reddy and has softened up a lot towards him. It is said that Vijayasai Reddy is a know-it-all in YSRCP.
Sai Reddy was YSR Congress’s Organizational Man since the Day One.
He is someone who knows the party in and out. Rumors are that Jagan wants his services for the next four years.
Moreover, Jagan is preparing for another padayatra. It is said that Vijayasai Reddy was also a key person in designing Jagan’s padayatra in 2017. It is said that the party needs him even now.
