Chandrababu Naidu’s Cabinet Meeting happened the other day.
Even before the meeting has concluded, there are few leaks about the Chief Minister schooling some Ministers.
Apparently, Naidu expressed dissatisfaction over at least 50% Ministers who are not responding promptly on Political Issues.
The Chief Minister expressed his dissatisfaction that many did not immediately respond strongly to the inappropriate comments made by YSRCP leader Prasanna Kumar Reddy on female MLA Prashanthi Reddy from Nellore district.
“The ministers are still not working at their full capacity. We have allocated a special social media team and PRO for you. But what if you are not able to take the work being done in your departments to the people? Even now, 50% of the ministers are lagging behind in this regard. What is your problem? Can’t you tell the people about the good works?” the CM expressed his impatience.
This is the matter reported in Eenadu today.
But then, even before the cabinet meeting ended yesterday, almost all the media houses reported this.
Some Media houses even went to the extent of speculating about the changes to the AP cabinet.
So how did this news leak to the media?
Either the Government should leak it or someone from inside of the cabinet should be involved.
If this is the Government’s plan to prepare the ministers for a cabinet reshuffle, it should have been handled differently.
Why would the Government leak when it is about the non-performance of the Ministers?
Why would the Government give a chance to media houses writing wild reports about the non-performances of the Ministers as such reports will damage its overall image?
Does that mean this is the job of an insider?
If it is as such, the Government should immediately find out how the leaks are happening.
Tomorrow sensitive issues can be leaked and bring a big headache for the Government.
