During the Yuvagalam Padayatra, the absence of Nara Lokesh’s visit to Pulivendula seemed to have disappointed the TDP cadre in the area.

Nevertheless, the recent victory in the Graduate MLC election in West Rayalaseema, which includes Kadapa district, has reportedly boosted their fighting spirit.

Today, TDP leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu was expected to visit Pulivendula. Local TDP leaders, including B.Tech Ravi and MLC Rambhupla Reddy, made arrangements for his tour.

However, the police did not give permission for Chandrababu’s meeting in Pulivendula Pulangalla circle, resulting in a tense situation, and heavy special party police were deployed in the area.

Despite not obtaining permission for the meeting, TDP leaders and activists gathered in large numbers in Pulivendula.

Some YSRCP workers reportedly came with YSRCP flags, leading to clashes between the two groups. The police intervened and dispersed both parties.

The political atmosphere in Pulivendula seems to be charged, with the TDP aiming to make its presence felt in what is considered YS Jagan’s bastion.

However, the denied permission for Chandrababu’s meeting has added to the tension in the area.

The visits of Nara Lokesh and Chandrababu Naidu to Kadapa district have indeed brought significant confidence and enthusiasm among the TDP cadre ahead of the elections.
