The buzz around a possible by-election for Nalgonda Loksabha segment is growing stronger. Sources say that MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy will resign anytime in the next week. Buzz is that either Uttam Kumar Reddy or his wife, Padmavathi Reddy may be the candidate of Congress.

BJP is still not sure of its candidate. It has reached out to senior leader Indrasena Reddy to contest but he refused. The saffron party is looking at Komatireddy Brothers but there is still an air of uncertainty over their joining BJP.
Revanth Reddy is the probable candidate of TDP (TS). Revanth Reddy is in two minds about the contesting the election but may have to take the plunge if Chandrababu insists. All the parties are going to take this election seriously since it is a virtual rehearsal for 2019.
