Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy flew to Delhi earlier this month and sat with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was supposed to meet Home Minister Amit Shah that day but the appointment got canceled in the last minute citing the latter’s busy schedule.
Since then, Vijaya Sai Reddy is trying really hard for Amit Shah’s appointment. A few days after Jagan’s Tour, Amit Shah’s office informed Vijay Sai Reddy that they would try to accommodate an appointment of Amit Shah. The Chief Minister’s Office booked a Special Flight to go to Delhi but the appointment did not get confirmed.
Jagan had to cancel his trip to Delhi as a result. After a lot of effort, Amit Shah’s office confirmed the appointment today and the Chief Minister flew on a Special Flight a little while ago. One would wonder why the CM is so eager to meet the Home Minister who is also the BJP National President.
The Main Opposition Party, TDP suspects that it may be something to do with Jagan’s Petition in the CBI Court regarding the exemption from the Court Appearances. The arguments, in this case, are completed and the judgment is posted to November 1st.
