APCC president YS Sharmila once again attacked her brother and YSR Congress President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, for his statements against the Congress party.
Recently, Jagan Mohan Reddy questioned the Congress Party, asking why they didn’t support his recent protest in Delhi.
Responding to the same, Sharmila questioned Jagan why the Congress Party should declare solidarity with his Delhi protest.
“Why should we support your protest? Is it because of your hypocritical drama in Delhi to save your party’s existence? Because of painting an individual’s murder with politics? Or because of maintaining an unofficial affair with BJP for the last five years?” questioned Sharmila.
Sharmila found it surprising that Jagan suddenly started speaking about Manipur violence after months of silence. She noted that despite being a Christian, Jagan never addressed the mass killings of his community in Manipur.
She recalled that he didn’t support the no-confidence motion put forward by Congress and supported the BJP in this matter.
“Didn’t you support the right-wing party BJP, which YSR garu opposed? Did you support Congress when it was protesting against the Manipur violence?” Sharmila questioned Jagan.
She asserted that Congress didn’t support Jagan’s protest as it was not genuine and did not benefit the state of Andhra Pradesh.
She questioned if Jagan’s 11 MLAs’ support was not enough for him, considering he said “Siddham” before the elections.
