Former Minister Shilpa Mohan Reddy joined YSR Congress in the Presence of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy a little while ago. Along with him, Nandhyala Municipal Chairperson Sulochana, Markfed State Vice-President Nagireddy and several councilors, MPTCs, Sarpanches and other leaders joined the party.

With such huge joinings, YSR Congress Central Office wore a festive look. Shilpa is the only strong leader who joined YSR Congress post 2014 elections defeat. This also gives the Opposition Party good chance in Nandhyala by-elections even though it is tilted in favour of TDP a bit now.
If YSR Congress wins this election, it will rejuvenate the party cadre ahead of the 2019 elections and will showcase that the party is a force to reckon for the upcoming election. The notification for the election will come after the Presidential Election in July.
