Former Minister and Vijayawada West MLA Velampalli Srinivasa Rao had a bitter experience in the Gadapa Gadapaku Program in 45th Division on Friday evening.
When MLA Velampalli arrived in Jojinagar, the women and locals who were waiting there stopped him.
“For the last four decades, a private person has built a wall and closed the road we are using. We are facing many difficulties having to take the longer route. You promised to resolve it many times, what have you done?” they questioned.
The women did not look convinced despite the explanation of the MLA.
They kept asking the MLA why he promised them many times and why the government is doing nothing to address the civil case for a long time.
Vellampalli lost his cool and finally left the place saying that he can not do anything as the matter was under the jurisdiction of the court.
Vellampalli is reportedly on sticky ground in the Vijayawada West constituency. There are many allegations about the MLA and it is rumored in the constituency Jagan stripped Vellampalli of the cabinet berth. The internal survey reports also paint a bad picture of him in the coming elections.
