Yarlagadda Venkata Rao is scheduled to meet Chandrababu Naidu tomorrow. The political landscape in Gannavaram has undergone significant changes at a rapid pace. Yarlagadda Venkata Rao, a rebel leader from YSRCP, made a request to TDP President Chandrababu Naidu during a meeting with his supporters yesterday.
In the latest development, Chandrababu Naidu has granted an appointment to Yarlagadda Venkata Rao for tomorrow at 11 am in Hyderabad. Amid allegations that Yarlagadda had held secret meetings with leaders in Telugu Desam, the YSRCP seemingly sidelined him for the Gannavaram ticket.
This decision has caused frustration and dissatisfaction among Yarlagadda and his followers. In a public speech, he asserted that he has not yet met any TDP leader and expressed his intention to seek an appointment with Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the possibility of his candidature in Gannavaram as a TDP nominee.
As part of Lokesh’s yuvagalam (youth outreach program), activities are taking place in Krishna district, including the Gannavaram segment. Rumors suggest that Yarlagadda might officially join the TDP in the presence of Nara Lokesh on the 22nd of this month. On the other side, YSRCP leaders appear unconcerned about Yarlagadda’s departure from the party.
