MP YS Avinash Reddy is trying to avoid the CBI investigation on one name or the other. On the 19th, he avoided the investigation saying that his mother is unwell. The CBI sleuths were seen following Avinash that day and the YSR Congress cadre formed a human shield for Avinash to prevent arrest if it happens.
Avinash’s mother who complained of chest pain was admitted to a hospital in Kurnool.
Usually, people of Rayalaseema go to Hyderabad or Bengaluru for medical emergencies. But they were avoided because Avinash does not want to take a chance in other states where there is no support from the YSR Congress cadre and the Government.
Moreover, the hospital of Kurnool is owned by a distant relative of Avinash.
Besides, the general physician at Vishwabharathi Hospital has contacts in the CM’s office. It is reported that she was admitted to Kurnool Hospital as per the instructions received from there.
The hospital’s health bulletins can be ‘managed’ in case it is necessary. Avinash is staying in the hospital to use the plank -‘I need to take care of my sick mother because my father is also jailed’.
The CBI, the other day, served a fresh notice to Avinash Reddy to attend for investigation on May 22nd. It looks highly doubtful if he will attend. In case, the CBI tries to arrest his forcibly, YSR Congress cadres will take care.
