There are so many speculations about YS Sharmila joining the Andhra Pradesh Congress and leading the party to eat into YSR Congress’s vote bank.
The other day, YSR Congress Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy announced that he is ready to sail with Sharmila if she joins Congress.
Andhra Pradesh PCC President Gidugu Rudraraju confirmed that Sharmila is joining the Congress.
“We got information from the party high command that Sharmila is joining the party. A few YSR Congress MLAs, Former MLAs, and MPs are in touch with us. I have no objection if she is made the PCC President,” Rudraraju announced.
Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Jagan is very worried about Sharmila joining Congress as it may split the YSR Congress’s Vote. Buzz says that a family member is brokering peace with Sharmila offering Kadapa MP ticket to her.
The brother and sister were not even on talking terms for the last 3-4 years. Sharmila did not mince words even to criticize Jagan on many occasions. She even testified against YSR Congress MP Avinash Reddy in Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case.
