YS Sharmila has been attacking and criticizing her brother, YS Jagan, since her return to AP politics. YSRCP leaders and Jagan himself are unhappy, believing that he should be challenging the ruling government instead. Jagan responds to Sharmila’s comments and tweets through his social media handles, but Sharmila persists. For the past two days, Sharmila has been angrily tweeting at her brother. Consequently, a tweet from the YSRCP handle labeling Sharmila as Chandrababu’s stooge has become a hot topic.

Sharmila has accused the YSRCP social media team of being afraid of CBN. She sarcastically remarked that if YSRCP members looked in the mirror, they would see CBN’s image. She directly challenged YS Jagan to resign as MLA when he did not attend the Assembly.
She has redefined YSRCP, stating that Y stands for YV Subba Reddy, S stands for Sai Reddy, and R stands for Rama Krishna Reddy, implying there is no place for YSR in YSRCP. There seems to be no immediate political benefit for Sharmila in attacking YS Jagan even after the elections. Some speculate that she fears Jagan might form an alliance with the INDIA alliance.
