YS Sharmila is turning heads in AP political space with the stage looking set for her to merge her YSRTP in Telangana Congress. The only thing due now is the official confirmation of the same, which could be announced by Sharmila in a day or two.
In her latest media interaction, Sharmila was asked about YCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy’s statement that he wants to travel with Sharmila once she joins Congress.
Sharmila acknowledged the YCP MLA’s stance and said she feels happy to be getting support in AP politics.
Amidst reports that Sharmila could soon be emerging as a main player in AP politics by joining hands with Congress, her first reaction to YCP MLA’s inclination towards her had prominence. Instead of avoiding the question, she embraced it and had an encouraging response.
If Sharmila really does set foot in AP, there could be a commotion in YCP where YSR followers who arent able to bear with Jagan might walk away with Sharmila back to Congress. Sharmila too appears to be in approval of this.
