YSRCP Half Empty in Chittoor

The activists were given the illusion that we were coming to power again. Leaders shared the same opinion. This created anarchy and destruction in the respective constituencies. The people, tired of their brutality and partisan actions, defeated them everywhere except Punganur in the district.

Until then, the YSRCP candidates, who had assured their supporters that they were in control, turned away after the heavy defeat. They showed no concern for the volunteers who resigned after believing their words. As a result, these volunteers are now dissatisfied and impatient with the behavior of the respective candidates.

Ex-minister Roja moved to Chennai after the crushing defeat and participated in the YSR Jayanti program to pay tribute. Leaders and activists of the Nagari constituency are not available, causing concern. If they attempt to join TDP, they find the gates closed.

Narayanaswamy, who served as Deputy CM, has been without an address since the defeat of YSRCP. When he was in power, he often insulted the opposition and the media chiefs, but now he is silent. He used to participate in YSR Jayanti programs in all the mandals of the constituency. Currently, he is staying in Puttur for a few days and Chennai for a few more days.

Kuppam MLC Bharat remained in the locality for only a week after the change of government. Usually, his family stays in Hyderabad, and he also stays there. Bharat did not participate in the YSR Jayanti events, leading to deep dissatisfaction within the YSRCP ranks.

Many are trying to join TDP. Recently, Municipal Chairman Sudhir also went to Amaravati. As CM Chandrababu has stated that neutral leaders can join TDP, it is likely that YSRCP will soon be vacant here. Dr. Sunil Kumar, who contested on behalf of YSRCP in Puthalapattu and lost, is now confined to practicing in his hospital in Palamaneru.

In Chittoor, the district center, more than half of YSRCP is already vacant. If MLA Gurjala Jaganmohan opens the doors, the remaining YSRCP members in the constituency might also leave. Vijayananda Reddy, who contested the elections and lost, used to celebrate YSR Jayanti. Although he claims to be in Chittoor, he is nowhere to be seen. There is a rumor within YSRCP that Vijayananda Reddy has gone into a deeper depression than the rest of the district.
