Between 2019 and 2024, we used to see YSR Congress leaders making tall claims of defeating Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam. Then Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy even wrested Kuppam local bodies using money and muscle.
There was widespread propaganda about something really happening in Kuppam.

But Chandrababu Naidu comfortably won Kuppam for the eighth time.
After the elections, the YSR Congress bubble burst almost immediately.

YSR Congress is almost empty in Kuppam. MLC K. R. J. Bharath who lost on the YSR Congress ticket shifted to Hyderabad and is out of the radar for the party cadre.
Bharath used to do tall talks before the elections but silently exited the constituency after the results. Like how it used to be when his father was the candidate, Bharath would come to the constituency only before the elections or YSR Congress would have to field a new candidate.

The local bodies are also slowly going TDP’s way.
Earlier today, Kuppam Municipal Chairman Sudheer resigned from YSR Congress and his Municipal Chairman post and joined the Ruling Party in the presence of the Chief Minister. It is a matter of time before the Municipality is in TDP’s account.
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy can not go to his own constituency and forget about Kuppam after the elections.
YSR Congress is completely out and down in Kuppam. It gets funny when we remember all their tall talks before the elections.
