The case involving Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani has unexpectedly become a significant tool for the TDP government to target YSRCP leaders. Initially overlooked, this incident has now gained attention as a possible means to pursue action against high-profile individuals within YSRCP and former law enforcement officials tied to the case.
The TDP government, led by Chandrababu Naidu, is reportedly speeding up the investigation into Jethwani’s kidnapping and harassment allegations, which has resulted in the filing of a case against YSRCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar, who has been named as the main accused (A1).

The involvement of former police officers, such as then Intelligence Chief PSR Anjaneyulu, former Vijayawada Police Commissioner Kanti Rana, and DCC Vishalgunni, is under scrutiny. The TDP government is reportedly withholding any further appointments for these officers, with two already suspended pending further investigation.
Jethwani’s allegations have brought a new layer of complexity to the political landscape, and this case may serve as a focal point in ongoing efforts by the TDP to legally challenge YSRCP leaders and their alleged involvement in past criminal activities.
