YV Subba Reddy’s Phone Number in Ghee Scam

Phone number evidence in ghee case

One phone number has emerged as a major clue in the adulterated ghee case, 95424 19999. According to the SIT chargesheet, this number was used by Kadhuru Chinnappanna to contact ghee suppliers and collect bribes. The same number also appears on the official letterhead of YV Subba Reddy from his Lok Sabha MP tenure.

For a long time, Y V Subba Reddy has maintained that Chinnappanna had no connection with him after 2018. However, the chargesheet identifies this number as central to the alleged illegal operations. Forensic evidence shows TTD officials saved 95424 19999 as “PS to Chairman.”

This detail makes the connection difficult to ignore. Investigators claim bribes were demanded through this number and contracts were influenced using it. Its presence on Subba Reddy’s official letterhead still remains unexplained.

Chinnappanna may have made the calls, but questions remain about who enabled the use of an official number. Unless the SIT examines call detail records, tower dump data and Google Takeout information, the larger picture behind the ghee scandal may remain unclear.
