Some films, even with a big hero and director, never see the light of day; they simply remain in cans forever. “Dhruva Natchathiram,” a Tamil film starring Chiyaan Vikram, is one such example.
Despite having numerous planned release dates and even discussions about a direct OTT release, the film has yet to be released. The shooting of this film began in 2016.
Yesterday, the film’s director, Gautham Menon, made a statement that the movie will have an open-ended climax, potentially leading to a Part-2. He mentioned his intention to create a cinematic universe if the first part is well-received by the audience.
People on social media are mocking this statement and asking the release of the film. It has been over six years since the shooting was completed, and now, the director is talking about a sequel without releasing the film.
They do have a valid point, don’t they?
