Producer Naga Babu Konidela donated Rs.35 lakhs, garnered from the re-release of the movie Gudumba Shankar to Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party. The film was produced by Naga Babu under the Anjana Productions banner.
Naga Babu presented a cheque of Rs.35 lakhs to JSP leader Nadendla Manohar. He mentioned that they had previously donated the re-release collections of Orange (Rs. 1 crore 5 lakhs) and Jalsa (Rs. 1 crore) to the Jana Sena party fund.

Stating their commitment, Naga Babu assured that future collections from their re-released classic films would also be contributed to the Jana Sena Party.
