The portfolios for the cabinet ministers in Telangana’s newly established Congress government have been finalized. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy engaged in extensive discussions with AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and KC Venu Gopal yesterday, outlining the cabinet roles.
Apart from his role as Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy is set to oversee Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Law and Order, General Administration, and other unassigned portfolios. Meanwhile, Mallu Bhattivikramarka is slated to handle Finance, Planning, and Energy.
The other ministers and portfolios are as follows:
Uttam Kumar Reddy (Irrigation & CAD, Food & Civil Supplies),
Damodara Rajanarsimha (Health, Medical & Family Welfare,
Science and Technology), Komatireddy Venkatreddy (Roads & Buildings, Cinematography),
D. Sridhar Babu (Information Technology,
Electronics & Communications Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs),
Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy (Revenue and Housing,
Information & Public Relations),
Ponnam Prabhakar (Transport and BC Welfare),
Konda Surekha (Environment & Forests, Endowment),
Seethakka (Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (including Rural Water Supply), Women & Child Welfare),
Tummala Nageshwara Rao (Agriculture, Marketing, Co-operation, and Handlooms & Textiles) and
Jupally Krishna Rao (Prohibition & Excise, Tourism & Culture and Archaeology).
