Instagram Impersonator Arrested

In a recent development, Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police apprehended Jishnu Keerthan for preying on young women through Instagram. Keerthan employed a deceitful tactic, sending requests under the guise of a young woman to build trust.

Victims, thinking they were communicating with a fellow woman, shared private photos. Exploiting this, Jishnu later resorted to threats of blocking and exposing them on social media. The arrest ensued following a complaint to the cybercrime police, revealing that Jishnu persuaded victims into sending explicit videos under the threat of publicizing their private photos to their followers. The authorities took action on Wednesday to curb such malicious activities.
