On Friday, there was an inquiry in the Telangana High Court regarding the cases against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan. The court focused on the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by former MP Harirama Jogaiah concerning Jagan’s allegedly illegal assets.
The petitioner urged for a prompt investigation and resolution of Jagan’s cases before the upcoming assembly elections. During the hearing, it was revealed that discharge petitions are already awaiting consideration in 20 cases.
The court recently sent notices to Jagan but the recipients are yet to receive them. The court hearing on November 8, is to issue these notices promptly. However, as the notices weren’t issued yet, the court ordered them to issue the notices again. The court has directed the registry to link Jagan’s case petition with Sumoto PIL and postponed the next hearing after three months.
