Karthi who is basking under the glory of consecutive hits will next be seen in a hilarious and action-packed role in Japan. Anu Emmanuel played the leading lady in the movie which was directed by Raju Murugan. The movie is up for Diwali release.
Karthi informs the story of Japan was inspired by some real events. “I felt Japan is an out-of-the-box entertainer when I read the script. Every sequence in the movie is unique. You will get clarity on the title Japan, after watching the movie.”
Karthi underwent a makeover and the dialogues are also peculiar. “I Changed myself for the character. I really enjoyed doing the character Japan in the movie. Japan reflects today’s society with all the fun elements. This story connects to everyone.”
The actor also hinted of a probable prequel or a sequel for the movie. “Japan is a very strong and interesting character. I told the director that there should be a sequel or a prequel to the movie. I wanted to do the character Japan again.”
The movie will be released through Annapurna Studios on November 10th for Diwali.
