Karthik Subbaraj attained stardom in the film industry with his movie Jigarthanda in 2014. Now, after nine years, he created its spiritual follow-up titled Jigarthanda Double X, starring Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah, released on November 10.
The movie did moderately well in Tamil but didn’t perform well in Telugu. After a month since its release, Jigarthanda Double X is set to have its digital premiere on Netflix India starting December 8. This announcement was made official by the streaming platform today.

Apart from the main actors, Naveen Chandra, Shine Tom Chacko, and Nimisha Sajayan played other important roles in the film. The music for Jigarthanda Double X was composed by Santosh Narayanan.
