NTR Coin Coming To AP

The Government of India launched NTR commemorative 100 rupee coin a few months ago during NTR’s centenary celebrations. Until now, this coin is only available in the Mint Compound located in Hyderabad.

Soon, it will be available in Andhra Pradesh as well. According to the latest reports, NTR commemorative coin will be available in special counters set up in cities like Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. The central government granted permission to mint 12000 additional coins for the same.

NTR commemorative coin is composed of 50 per cent silver, 40 per cent copper, 5 per cent nickel and 5 per cent zinc.
