The Telangana state government, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, has removed all seven advisors appointed by former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s government. The ousted advisors include Somesh Kumar, Rajiv Sharma, AK Khan, GR Reddy, Anurag Sharma, Chennamaneni Ramesh, and R Shobha.
Somesh Kumar, previously holding the chief secretary post, resigned and returned as KCR’s advisor after the Telangana High Court directed him to return to his home cadre.

Revanth Reddy, during his time as the opposition leader, accused these officials, particularly Somesh Kumar, of colluding in causing financial losses to the state, emphasizing concerns about the Dharani portal’s implementation.
