TPCC president Revanth Reddy recently praised the dedication of workers in Nalgonda district for their unwavering support of the Congress party despite facing numerous legal challenges. During an election campaign event in Nagirekal, Nalgonda district, Revanth Reddy engaged with the audience and highlighted various concerns.

Referring to Nalgonda’s historical significance in the armed struggle, Revanth Reddy acknowledged the pivotal role played by leaders like Gadda Nalgonda and heroes who liberated the people from Rajakars. Additionally, he mentioned the resignations of Komati Reddy and Venkat Reddy as Telangana ministers. Some individuals who were previously associated with Congress have now safeguarded the nobles’ residences. Revanth Reddy emphasized the need not to welcome back the 12 party defectors at the assembly gate and advocated for the punishment of those who betrayed Congress.

He questioned the sustainability of projects built on unstable foundations, drawing attention to the potential collapse of a project constructed with a massive budget of Rs. One and a half lakh crores within three years. Revanth Reddy criticized the government’s negligence towards the SLBC project, essential for providing water to Nalgonda. He raised concerns about a 10 km tunnel intended to supply water to Nalgonda, which remained incomplete after a decade. Furthermore, he questioned why KCR, who built reservoirs around his farmhouse, had not extended water facilities to Nalgonda.

In his appeal to voters, Revanth Reddy urged them to secure a significant victory for Congress candidate Vemula Veeresham in the upcoming elections in Nakirekal.
