It has come to light that a software engineer, Abdul Khareemulla, hailing from Penamalur of Andhra Pradesh, was allegedly harassing his wife for additional dowry and demanding the transfer of assets into his name.
According to the victim’s account, the husband, who was also a software engineer, subjected her to various forms of harassment, including physical abuse, suspicion, and constant monitoring of her actions. The victim had an abortion due to the stress caused by this situation.

Furthermore, the in-laws of the victim were involved in pressuring her and her husband for additional dowry while arranging a home loan. A case has been registered and the Penamalur police are currently investigating the matter.
