Director Om Raut faced severe backlash after the release of his last film Adipurush. Om was criticised not only for the bad CG work but also for changing the story of a sacred epic like Ramayana.
Even after months of Adipurush’s release, Om is still trolled on social media. He attended the Sri Ram Lalla pranprathishtha ceremony today and shared a picture on social media. Netizens trolled him for making a film like Adipurush when he had ample resources to make a live-action epic.
Om turned off his comments section to avoid negative replies but netizens are quoting his tweets to troll him.”This is like Vijay Mallya being invited to inauguration of SBI branch,” wrote an X user. Another user commented, “This photo is a perfect example to show how tolerant #Hindus are… Imagine this guy getting an invitation of #AyodyaRamMandir #PranPratishta even after he made such a crap movie on #ShriRam.”
