A1 Passenger Shocked By Ticketless People In Train!

Ticketless People

A shocking yet not-so-uncommon news has reached the surface concerning Indian railways via social media. Kushal Mehra was travelling via Delhi Saria Rohilla train (22949) in the A1 coach and faced an unexpected situation that made him feel helpless.

Mehra needed to use the washroom, but it turned out to be an impossible task given ticketless passengers blocked his way. He asked the attendant to sort out the matter but was refused with the excuse that it is always like this. In the end, Mehra shared his grievance on Twitter (X) and tagged the Railway Ministry. Finally, the ticketless passengers were removed.

What does it tell about the condition of trains in the country? There are far more passengers than the trains could accommodate. Also, it is people’s moral duty to not board trains/coaches they do not have tickets for. This has become a norm to board a train with a waiting ticket or enter reserved coaches on a general ticket. The staff in the train act only when the ministry is tagged on social media, otherwise they simply ignore the concerns.

The original post received tons of replies, some filled with sympathy for him and others sharing their experiences through a similar situation.
