India is now the top country in the world for using artificial intelligence (AI) in daily life. A new survey by Statista Consumer Insights found that 41% of Indians use AI tools every day. The survey was done between August and September 2024, with 1,250 people from each country, aged 18 to 64.
India is far ahead of other countries. In Brazil, 33% said they use AI daily, in Mexico it was 24%, and in Germany and the UK, only 21% of people said the same. The United States came last with just 20% of daily users.
AI is quickly becoming a big part of life in India. A report by Deloitte says AI is changing how the government, banks, and telecom companies work. These sectors are now using AI to improve their systems, make data sharing easier, and give better service to people.
The Deloitte report also says Indian companies are using smaller and faster AI models to give quicker and smarter results. But these changes are not easy. They require new system designs that can grow over time and stay safe and reliable.
Another report by Gartner says that by the end of 2024, AI will create $3.7 trillion in business value across the world and save 8.1 billion hours of work.
India’s strong use of AI shows how fast the country is moving in technology. It’s a sign that India is becoming a global leader in using AI to improve everyday life.
