A very unusual wedding took place in Kolukula village in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. People were surprised to see the bride dressed like a groom and the groom dressed like a bride.
This happened at the wedding of B. Shiva Ganguraju and Nandini. Their family follows an old tradition where the couple exchanges dressing roles on the wedding day. As part of this custom, both wore opposite outfits and performed all the rituals.
The newly married couple then went in a small procession to the temple with their relatives and friends. They offered prayers to the deity while wearing these unique outfits. Villagers said they had never seen such a strange and interesting custom before.
