A 24-year-old son of a politician , hit a couple on a two-wheeler in Mumbai’s Worli this morning 8th of july 2024, resulting in the death of a woman after she was dragged for over 100m.
At 5:30 am, Kaveri Nakva and husband Pradik Nakva, from the Koliwada area of Worli, went to Sassoon Dock to fetch some fish.
As they were returning home with their catch, their two-wheeler was struck from behind by a speeding BMW.
Causing their bike to overturn and throwing both the husband and wife onto the bonnet of the car. The husband saved himself by jumping on the other side so that he wasn’t dragged but the fate of the woman wasn’t at all good, she was dragged for 100m.
When she was taken to the hospital she was declared dead.
According to the police the guy was very drunk in Juhu Beach last night and was recklessly driving his BMW car in the early morning, which caused this death.
Drunk driving is a crime, and the guy is under custody the investigation is going on.
