Delhi Metro DoorsSeveral incidences of improper behavior within Delhi Metro trains have occurred in recent weeks, mainly involving people taking movies despite a restriction issued by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). These activities are intended not simply to generate viral material, but also to disrupt the tranquil environment within the train cars. Another incidence of this type recently appeared on social media, with a video showing two individuals purposefully impeding the closing doors of a Metro carriage with their feet.

The footage, which was first posted on Twitter by Aman, shows two men standing at the coach’s gate. They stretch their feet as the doors close, causing the doors to reopen. This move is repeated while other people inside the train laugh. As shown in the video, it was shot at Karol Bagh Station on the Delhi Metro’s Blue Line.

The DMRC reacted to the tweet by demanding further information, such as the coach number. According to them, the coach number is often posted both inside and outside the train. Aman, on the other hand, revealed that he did not capture the video personally but discovered it on Instagram reels.

Despite not knowing the coach’s number, he supplied other pertinent information and requested that the DMRC resolve the issue as soon as possible. It should be mentioned that the video was initially posted on Instagram on March 29 by a user named Ansh.

In a subsequent tweet, the DMRC reminded passengers that impeding Metro train doors is a serious offense and asked them to report such actions by calling the DMRC Helpline. Internet users voiced their disgust and frustration at these travelers’ careless behavior. Some emphasized the trouble given to thousands of passengers, while others asked the DMRC and Delhi Police to take stern action against those involved, whose faces could be seen in the video.
