A man from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has gone missing after releasing a video alleging domestic abuse by his wife.
Identified as Anand Dubey, he shared the video on social media and sent it to his family before disappearing. His wife has also been reported missing since the incident.
In the video, Anand stated that domestic violence is not just experienced by women but also by men. He apologized to his parents and sister before turning off his phone.
Concerned family members reported the matter to the police, who have launched a search operation for both Anand and his wife.
Anand’s family revealed that he had been married for four years, and while the initial phase was smooth, frequent disputes began to emerge. According to them, Anand was under severe mental stress due to ongoing conflicts.
Authorities from Adhartal police station confirmed receiving the video and have intensified efforts to locate the missing couple.
Meanwhile, the viral video has sparked discussions on domestic violence against men, a topic that is often overlooked in societal discourse.
The police are urging anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward.
