Situations do tend to go out of hand at times when certain celebrities not associated with any social work are asked questions that can be political. This is exactly what happened when a news reporter asked an MMA fighter certain questions that he didn’t like. The press conference turned pretty ugly in no time and the fighter churned out some extremely harsh words.
When a reporter asked the UFC fighter a question about LBGTQ+ community, the man lost his cool and said the reporter to “go f**k himself” for being an ally to the community. He said that it was people like him who were the problem and who elected someone like Justin Trudeau to power. Canada being a liberal LGBTQ friendly country became the target of the fighter.
His comments instantly turned extremely transphobic and he lashed out at the whole community with very derogatory terms. He even went on to say that it was people like the reporter who were the biggest enemy of the world.
It is extremely concerning to see how certain people can feel so insecure because of harmless choices that others make that they can go to such an extent to inflict any kind of damage on a whole community. Political correctness is not the standard we hold for other celebrities like sports persons but they need to take responsibility for their words and its effect.
UFC champ Sean Strickland tells a Canadian reporter “You’re part of the f*cking problem. You elected Justin Trudeau.”
He goes on to say “The world is saying no, there are two genders. I don’t want my kids being taught about who they can f*ck in school”
