With just a few hours till Adipurush’s release, the first photo of the Hanuman throne has appeared online. In a snapshot from Baroda, a theatre owner has decorated a seat in one of Adipurush’s rows for Lord Hanuman. As a sign of respect, theatre owners would reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman on every screen showing Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush.
In the Baroda theatre shot, a framed portrait of Lord Hanuman with Lord Ram and Sita sitting on the bench with a garland. The bench was wrapped with saffron shawls and flower petals. It’s gone viral. Om Raut’s appeal prompted theatre proprietors to reserve a seat for Hanuman.
Raut requested that the film’s producers reserve an empty place in every theatre when the film is shown in honor of Lord Hanuman during a trailer event in Tirupati. “This act symbolizes the reverence and acknowledgment of Lord Hanuman’s spiritual presence during the screening of ‘Adipurush,'” he stated.
Following the request and announcement that a seat would be set aside in the Lord’s honor, rumors suggested that the reserved seat would cost more than ordinary seats. T-Series, the film’s production company, denied these charges on Monday.
“Media reports on #Adipurush ticket pricing are inaccurate. We wish to emphasize that seats close to Hanuman Ji’s will not be priced differently! Don’t believe lies! “Jai Shri Ram!” Tweeted T-Series.
