High Court: Refusing S*x Is Mental Cruelty

The judge emphasized that nothing is more detrimental to a marriage than disappointment in the bedroom. The court dismissed the wife’s dowry harassment claims due to a lack of evidence and deemed such allegations acts of cruelty.

Referencing a prior Supreme Court case, the Delhi High Court asserted that refusing intercourse without a valid reason could constitute mental cruelty.
