In a new low, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) social media team has blocked its previous skipper, David Warner.
The incident came to everyone’s attention when Warner tried to congratulate Travis Head for being picked up by SRH in the IPL auction. However, Warner could not repost the SRH post since the official account of SRH blocked him.
The World Cup final hero, Travis Head, has been picked up by SRH for 6.8 crore rupees.
David Warner has been a member of SRH from 2014 to 2021. He led the team to its first and only title win in 2016. But, he had missed the 2018 season due to the ban imposed on him following the sandpaper incident in South Africa. Ever since the relationship between Warner and team management had not been that good, and eventually, he was released following the 2021 season. Currently, Warner is playing for Delhi Capitals.
If this is what one gets for giving his all and taking his team to win the trophy, it is nothing short of shameful from SRH.
