Recently there was a banter between Kevin Pietersen especially on twitter regarding the post IPL 2024 moment. Pietersen’s gentle mocking of Rayudu as a joker over the wardrobe change after each match, the implication was not of being provocative, but rather humorous.
However, this was interpreted differently over the social media and ended up causing much unnecessary heat towards Rayudu. Pietersen was quick to take it to social networking sites, where he appealed for a decrease in such “tribalism w/Indian players”.
