Kota Fire Accident: Child actor Veer Sharma and his brother Shaurya lost their lives in a tragic blaze in Kota, Rajasthan. Veer was only eight years old and had acted in Shrimad Ramayan and Veer Hanuman. Shaurya, just sixteen, was preparing for IIT.
The fire started from a short circuit in their fourth-floor flat. Both brothers were asleep when the blaze spread. Despite neighbours rushing to help, they could not be saved. The boys died of suffocation before reaching the hospital.
At the time, their father was attending a local programme, while their mother, actor Rita Sharma, was in Mumbai. The loss of both sons has left the family shattered and the community in deep sorrow.
Veer was preparing for his film debut, while Shaurya had big academic dreams. Their sudden deaths highlight how preventable fire accidents continue to claim young lives. Stricter safety measures and awareness are essential to avoid such tragedies.
