The Delhi Metro has continued to make news for a number of strange and horrific occurrences that have occurred inside train cars, platforms, and stations. A video of two guys fighting fiercely inside a Violet Line train coach went viral a few days ago. DMRC has made a comment on the subject.
After a video of the incident went viral on social media, people were quick to point out the absence of security and monitoring in various Delhi Metro stations. In a recent statement published by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the agency has asked travelers to be responsible while using the Metro.
“We request that commuters conduct themselves responsibly while traveling by Metro,” the DMRC remarked in response to the event. “If other commuters observe any objectionable behavior, they should immediately report the matter to the DMRC Helpline, specifying the corridor, station, and time,” the notification continued.
The Violet Line, also known as Line 6, is the only Delhi Metro line that connects three cities: Delhi, Faridabad, and Ballabhgarh. The route includes 32 metro stations. It connects Raja Nahar Singh to Kashmere Gate.
