The flight delay caused tremendous difficulty for passengers in Delhi, Mumbai, and other country regions. On January 14, many flights were delayed, including those operated by budget airline IndiGo. On Monday, January 15, a video appeared on X (previously Twitter) showing passengers on a delayed IndiGo aircraft eating supper at the airport.
The footage shows passengers dining on the airport apron. An IndiGo airliner was observed in the backdrop. The individual who provided the video stated that the passengers were scheduled to board a Goa-Delhi aircraft that had been delayed for 12 hours.
India’s aviation workforce has been weakened for a variety of reasons, although demand has increased owing to low airfares. As fuel costs grow, airlines struggle to match consumer expectations, resulting in higher ticket prices.
Some passengers are seeking improved sanitation and avoiding onboard meals. Other beverages are also priced more on Indian flights. As a result, there is exploitation of passengers. Passengers spend a lot of money yet do not receive decent service.
