While journalists are considered the overseers of justness in our society, there are times when we can see them committing acts which put to shame not just their profession but also the basic decency that is expected from a human being. One such incident has surfaced through a video doing the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter in which a female reporter can be seen slapping a man without any reason whatsoever.
What appears to be an interview, we see the lady attending to a crowd of men with one man acting as their speaker. Everything was going smoothly until one man from within the crowd tried making his way through the crowd to get the front seat but was welcomed by the reporter with a tight slap on his face with her asking him what the matter was.
The video is going viral on social media with netizens criticizing the journalist, asking who gave her the authority to raise hand on the man. One disappointed user wrote that the matter (masla) was the man’s height as he wanted to come to the front to see what’s going on but became a victim of the woman’s frustration and anger issues.
The reporter is well known for her sarcastic tone and interviews with the people of Pakistan and often brings questions circling around the neighbor country, India. Having a good number of subscribers and a big fanbase, such behavior is not expected of her and we hope that this public backlash makes her reflect on her actions and she does not do this again.
