A television actress working in Telugu and Kannada serials has filed a complaint of sexual harassment. Acting promptly, the police arrested the accused, identified as Naveen, from Annapurneshwari Nagar in Bengaluru.
According to police, the actress received a friend request from Naveen but did not accept it. He then began harassing her online by sending explicit messages. When she blocked him, he created multiple fake accounts and continued messaging her.
Unable to tolerate the harassment and mental stress, the actress approached the police. Investigators traced Naveen and took him into custody. The police stated that the messages caused emotional disturbance to the actress.
The accused, Naveen K Mon, worked as a delivery manager at an MNC with offices in Europe and the USA. He has been placed in judicial custody as the investigation continues.
