When WWE Superstar The Undertaker made a surprise cameo at Thursday’s Riyadh Season Cup final versus Al-Hilal, many people, including Cristiano Ronaldo, were in amazement. The lights in the Kingdom Arena went out, a huge moon was shown on the screen, and laser lights flashed throughout the stadium as The Undertaker made his way to the ground with his signature entrance.
Mark William Calaway, better known as The Undertaker, made his way across the platform to reveal the trophy to the stadium’s patrons. As the Undertaker raised the trophy, Ronaldo was spotted fooling around with his teammates and had a smile on his face.
Returning to the game, Ronaldo made his first appearance following his recovery from an injury. But his squad fell short against rivals Al-Hilal, 0–2. This week, Ronaldo turned 39. He got the game underway as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Salem Al-Dawasari scored goals in the first half to give Al-Hilal the victory.
Ronaldo had an incredible 2023, finishing as the top goal scorer in the world after the year. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored 54 goals for Al Nassr, his current club, and his nation in 2023. With 128 goals for Portugal since his debut in 2003, Ronaldo also holds the record for most goals scored in an international competition. He and his nation won the EURO Cup and the UEFA Nations League.
