
Rinku Singh, who is known for his powerful batting in cricket, has got a new role by Yogi Adityanath government.
He has been appointed as Basic Education Officer (BSA). This has surprised many especially because Rinku has studied only till class 9.

Rinku Singh is not playing for Team India now he has joined the government. Soon after his engagement to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj, Yogi government gave him this new responsibility.
He will be working as BSA. This is a big job in education system of any district. Job of BSA is to look after primary and upper primary schools in a district.

A BSA checks whether schools are running properly, whether teachers are working as they should and whether students are getting good education.
From time to time BSA visits schools to check their condition. BSA also handles complaints if any about the schools. Entire government school system of the district is under BSA’s watch.

Rinku Singh studied only till class 9. He could not continue his studies because of his poor family background. His father used to deliver gas cylinders and it was difficult to afford further education.
But Rinku never gave up. He focused on cricket and slowly made his way into professional cricket through hard work.
Rinku has played 33 T20 matches for India and scored 546 runs with 3 half-centuries. In ODIs he has played 2 matches and scored 55 runs.
In IPL he has played 59 matches and scored 1099 runs, 4 fifties. From being son of a gas delivery man to becoming a national cricket star and now a government officer, Rinku Singh’s journey is inspiring.
Even without strong educational background he has got this opportunity through hard work and dedication.
Now with this new responsibility it remains to be seen how he performs as BSA.
