The Board of Control for Cricket in India has invited applications for multiple coaching and performance roles. These positions are available at its Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
This move is aimed at strengthening India’s high performance system. The focus will be on coaching quality, skill development, and performance analysis across levels.
The BCCI is hiring two batting coaches, three fast bowling coaches, and four fielding coaches. Among the fielding roles, three are for men and one is for women. One performance analyst post is also open.
All selected candidates will be based at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The last date to apply is February 27 at 5 pm IST.
After reviewing applications, shortlisted candidates may be called for interviews or further assessment. This was confirmed by BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia in an official statement.
Batting coaches will work closely with the Head Cricket Coach at the CoE. They will support batters from senior teams, India A, age group sides, and state associations.
Their responsibilities include running structured batting programmes and tracking player progress. They will also coordinate with selectors and support staff.
Fast bowling coaches will focus on technical and physical development. They will handle workload planning, talent identification, and performance monitoring across levels.
Fielding coaches will work on fitness, agility, catching, throwing, and overall fielding standards. They will collaborate closely with other coaches and support teams.
The performance analyst will manage match and training data. The role will also involve integrating sports science inputs to support coaches and medical staff.
With these appointments, the BCCI aims to strengthen its coaching structure. The goal is to build a stronger and more effective pathway for players at all levels.
