Peak Madness? Hardik Fan Crossed Every Limit

Hardik Pandya meets young fan

How far would you go to meet your favourite cricketer? One young fan from Odisha answered that question by cycling nearly 2,000 kilometres to Bengaluru in a journey that lasted more than 12 days all for one dream meeting Hardik Pandya.

The India all rounder, who has recently shifted to Bengaluru to train at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE), finally met the youngster after his incredible journey.

The emotional meeting became even more special when the fan presented Pandya with an idol of Lord Jagannath as a token of love and respect.

Hardik Pandya accepted the gift, spent time interacting with the youngster and happily posed for photographs. But the heartwarming story didn’t end there.

Would Pandya allow the boy to cycle another 2,000 kilometres back home? According to reports, the India star arranged the youngster’s return journey from Bengaluru to Odisha, ensuring he didn’t have to make the exhausting trip back on his bicycle. The gesture has won widespread praise from fans across social media.

Hardik Pandya himself recently made a big life decision by relocating from Mumbai to Bengaluru.

After years of training in Mumbai, he chose to move closer to the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence as daily travel through the city’s heavy traffic became increasingly difficult.

The move will help him focus on his rehabilitation and preparations for India’s upcoming white ball assignments.
