Punjab Kings bowler Harpreet Brar recently shared a funny moment with a so-called fan on a bus. He recorded the video on his phone, and the clip is now widely circulating online.
Fan approaches Brar but forgets one basic thing
A man walked up to Brar, calling himself a loyal follower. He handed over his phone, expecting Brar to take a selfie and return it. Things took a different turn.
Brar checks Instagram and finds a surprise
Brar opened Instagram on that phone and searched for his own profile. He quickly noticed that the fan did not even follow him online. The moment became even funnier as Brar questioned his honesty.
Harpreet confronts him in a light mood
Speaking to the camera, Brar said, “I got a guy who told me, I am your fan. He gave me his phone & he is not even following me. This world is full of fake people.” The fan followed him instantly, but Brar jokingly said it was too late.
Fake fan culture is now a regular sight
Many people today approach celebrities for pictures or recognition without knowing them or supporting them. It looks harmless, but this habit weakens genuine admiration in sports and disrespects real fans who value their icons.
